So I need to get this out. In my semiconductors class I passed with a "D" I know I didn't earn. I confess this because this past month has been kind of an educational wake up call. Shit happens and so on it's all about how we handle them that matter. I'm disappointed and excited I passed the class. If I would have failed it it would have set me back 6 months in my degree, but I don't understand the material. It is with high hopes that as the pieces all fall together then I will have a good understanding of the material. Well thats all I do have a blog or 2 in process and will possibly get one of them out Tuesday so until then click on my ad's please.
p.s. today I found a steel 1943 wheat penny.

Josh's High Flying Adventure
So today I went out on a whim and helicopter I have named Fumbles. Fumbles is cool, he is sorta lazy and can only run for about 5 minutes then he needs to nap. (charging personification) But so far a fun investment.
Next on the agenda life has been pretty slow. Figures as I decide to document my life it goes all boring and what not. Plus its fun to try to keep it all clean. I'm gonna go fly Fumbles while I think of how to tell the story of when my store almost was sued by a lady over $50.
The $50 Ripoff?
OK. The story. So a long time ago, about mid May to be approximate, a lady came in. After looking around the store she decided that she wanted to put a picture on layaway. Of course it fit in the price limits ans we agreed on not the one on the floor but the one on the wall. Now after most of the formalities were said, ie: a time frame was completed, and a down payment was established, I rang up the item and she put $50 down and said she will have it paid up in 2 months. About a month and a half went by and finally we hear for the lady. She said "she was getting it as a gift for a friend and someone already got her one" or something like that and at the time the boss was out of town but would be back the next day and I would just let him handle it. so I told her to call back the next day between 3-9pm and he will gladly address the issue. So I come back tow days later for work and my boss asks if a lady called about a layaway.
Me: "Yes, I told her to talk to you yesterday. Did she call?"
The Boss "Yes she did, she was very nasty and at first I asked if she wanted store credit. then she said that all we had was junk. I had no problem giving her her money back until that point. I knew I lost a customer for life and likely sever people she may introduce to the store but sometimes its about taking what you can get."
So later that day the lady came in and was kinda nasty demanding that I give her the store address. This was a scare tactic, I could see it plain as day. she wanted us to think she got a lawyer. the address for the store is the same as the address for the mall. Again this was all over $50 and the fact that we "don't have a layaway policy". Most corporate sores would laugh at this. In most stores if you cancel a layaway you often lose 10-30% of the total purchase as a "restocking fee" all we asked of this lady was that she buy something. we hadn't told her yet but as long as she would buy something we would give her cash back for the difference. And a few days ago she finally came in a settled the issue. None the less the moral of this story is be nice to whoever you talk to you never truly understand there motives until they play out. If this lady would have said that she need the money back of personal reasons or was just nicer overall this would not have happened.
So I'm off to see my lovely Girlfriend, but while I'm gone please click on my adds a million times. If i raise enough money I may start adding "Flight of the Fumbles" videos but I need a better chopper (about $200) and a wireless webcam or something like it. Please click click click!!!!!!!!!

The first page of this chapter in life
Welcome, I am Josh.
This will be my blog here I will write about my life to hopefully get enough views to help pay for those things that come up in life. I am currently a student trying to become an electronics engineer, it's not going to well. But I'm not going to let that stop me from trying. I have invested to much time and money to quit. Also I work retail at a local shopping mall for a "Mom and Pop's" type of place. Mom left Pop so now its me and Pop running the place. It should be a sitcom when were together. He is a die-hard Conservative, me, I'm more Liberal but the man signs my checks so I humor him.
I guess I'll bring everyone up to speed. My life in a nutshell (nuts hell or nut shell?) I am 21 and constantly coming up with get rich quick schemes to make enough money in the day to get out of my moms house. Once one of my plans turns out 12 grand I'll be in the green until then I'll deal with the fact that I have yet to leave the under 10k tax bracket. But I live here with my Mom, my Brother, and a roommate my mom picked up from the navy. These people are occasionally funny, when they are it will be noted. But for the most part I will write on interactions I have with the rest of the world.
Example of an interaction that I have had. This is a true story with no fabrication:
About 2 years ago I worked in the same mall just a different store. This store was a mans toy store. We sold swords, knives, airsoft guns, and other novelties. Sitting in the store on some idle morning, half asleep, a older gentleman walked into the store. I greeted him as I would any customer. After a few lines of small talk he proceeded to walk around the store. First he walked by the knives. He seemed normal. Then he came around to the airsoft guns. That's when it started getting odd. I noticed at first even as he looked around his right hand was stroking the glass counter top. He noticed it a few seconds after I did and he snapped. The man grabbed his right hand and kept telling it "Stop it, Stop it!!". I was in shock what just happened, where was the hidden camera WTF was going on. He calmed down and continued at the same pace around the counter. Every now and again he would grab his hand and put it close to his chest. Then on the wall he saw the automatic airsoft rifles, it started again. This time he was louder and more harsh to his hand telling it again to "stop" but this time he also said "If you don't stop then were leaving! Alright you asked for it were leaving!"
It was many years later while watching House that I found out this guy had a real condition. I don't feel bad when I tell people this story. In fact my own oral tradition of that story is the only reason why that story has stuck into my head so well. Anyways im going to go and get some new material (going to work) however I will try to update this whenever I can. My goal is at least once a week but I will try for more best I can. I'm a busy guy but with a large enough fan base I will do all I can to keep it.
-Josh
P.s. If you like my blog please do me a favor: click on an ad or 2 (or all of them) it would help me raise money for future projects, a camera (to add pics), food, car insurence... you get the idea. Just a click then you can close the window.
